Affiliate Marketing is an Internet-based marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's marketing efforts. Some of you may be familiar with affiliate programs already so you can skip ahead.
The Networked Events affiliate program allows you to earn money by referring people to our events. You simply sign up to become an affiliate and then share a special tracking link with your friends and network. You will earn a commission every time someone clicks on your tracking link and signs up for an event. You can learn a lot more about affiliate marketing on Wikipedia.
For example, let's say you have a blog or twitter account and you think the people reading your blog would benefit by attending one of our events. You create a blog post or tweet about the event with your affiliate link in the body. Then, when someone clicks on that link our system tracks who sent them to the event registration page (you can track this too). If that person buys a ticket, you get credit for referring that person to the event. After the event, we will send you a commission payment for all of the commissions you earned for a particular event.
All of our paid events have an affiliate program that pays out 50% of the ticket price. If the event costs $10, you will make $5 for each person you refer.
NOTE: All affiliate payouts are made through Paypal. Please use your PayPal address when signing up to become an affiliate.
Each event has it's own affiliate program, so you can sign up to promote one event or all of the events in the list below. Just click on the "Become An Affiliate" link next to the event you want to promote and the system will walk you through the steps of becoming an affiliate.
We strongly suggest that you let people know that you are an affiliate when you promote our events. We believe in full disclosure.

No. We only pay out on tickets purchased at their full value. If you refer someone who has a discount code to get in for free you will not earn a commission on that sale.
How do I get paid?We only make affiliate payments via paypal and we only make affiliate payments to the email address used to sign up for an affiliate program. When you sign up, be sure to use your paypal address.
