Hiring a personal trainer? My top five list for selecting a GREAT personal trainer.

Are you starting a fitness routine? If so, you need to think of your options.

Shine A Light!

They tend to hire trainers that look like the member base and therefore appeal to them (I still don't know why they do this), but most gym owners also don't look like they actually step onto their own equipment :)...this can be witnessed at fitness…

Kerri, I just read on your site the 10 reasons to hire a trainer. More fitness centers need to do a better job at explaining the true value of PT like you do and we strive to do as well. I hope to touch base with you at the upcoming event.

I agree Stephen...a trainer is there to hold you accountable, motivate you and share their knowledge with you. If you are going to take the time and spend the $ to work out then you have to be sure you are doing things correctly so you don't hurt yo…

Great advice about hiring a trainer. I also think it is important to pick a trainer you "connect" with, since you are going to be spending a lot of time with them. I think it is also worthwhile to mention that a big benefit of having a trainer is t…
