Tom Vance

What’s my “value proposition” and why is it important to have one?

My good friend Steve Rankel acknowledges in the first key of his 5 Keys to Creating a Killer Value Proposition, the best definition for a value proposition: “A value proposition is a clear statement of how your product or service solves a customer’s business problem, delivers a benefit or improves their situation.” Notice where the emphasis lies? Not on you, your features, capabilities or your extensive client list. It focuses on your customer. Given this is not rocket science, how many of us blather on and on about me, me, me?

TIP - Go to www.product180.com Study what Steve has to say, and you’ll be leagues ahead of your competition.
